Chocolate muffins
You really can’t get better than a coffee and a gorgeous chocolate muffin. And these muffins are so easy to make and taste GREAT!
Chorizo and veg with noodles
This has to be the tastiest and quickest meal I have made in a long time!
Chicken tikka masala
Curry is one of my favourite dishes, and this is a way of making one that is SO quick and easy. Use any meat and type of curry. I have used Quorn pieces in this one – I find it makes the dish even more delicious than using chicken.
Beer-soaked baked chips
I have seen so many recipes on the internet for beer soaked fries. It sounds like it doesn’t work, but from all the comments – I just had to try it. I was dubious, but they did taste great and they were so easy to make. Think it is time I abandoned using oven chips, [...]
Chicken Nuggets
I’m not sure which part of a chicken is a nugget, well in this case it is the breast. So much better and tastier than fast food versions. My 5 year old son, said they were, “Yuuuummmmmmmy” and that is high praise indeed as he is a chicken nugget connoisseur. Great for kids and adults [...]
Vegetable patties
This was my first attempt at making vegetable patties, and even if I say so myself they were delicious. Next time I will add tuna, or maybe some almonds.
Beef in ale stew
A delicious warming Winter stew. Easy to make and leave in a moderate oven to cook to perfection. The slow cooking helps the meat become tender and just melt in the mouth.
Chicken with teriyaki style sauce
I don’t use a traditional Teriyaki sauce for this recipe, more one inspired by it. No ginger, no honey, but a wonderful, dark yet sweet sticky sauce.
Minced beef in filo pastry parcel
This dish tastes as good as it looks. Plus it’s easy to make a version for kids that don’t like the tomato and onion (like mine).
